Peak Adventure: Our High Mountain Tour
Start an epic full-day journey through the majestic Andes Mountain Range, Mendoza’s most breathtaking excursion.
We begin with pickup at your hotel and a scenic ascending route along National Route 7. Our first sight will be the picturesque town of Cacheuta, famous for its thermal waters, marking the beginning of the foothills.
Next, we’ll make an essential stop at the Potrerillos Dam, where the imposing turquoise reservoir, framed by the mountains, offers the perfect backdrop for your first photos. We’ll continue the ascent to the historic Uspallata valley, a key town in the Crossing of the Andes campaign.
As we gain altitude, we will explore the geological wonders of the Cordillera, including the famous Puente del Inca, with its astonishing natural rock formation.
The tour’s highlight is reaching the Aconcagua Viewpoint—the highest peak in the Americas. From here, you will enjoy unparalleled views of the mountain and its surrounding Provincial Park.
This tour is a complete immersion in the history and the immense nature of the Andes, offering a profound connection with the high-mountain culture of Mendoza.

This is an epic full-day journey where you will explore the Andes Mountain Range from start to finish, combining adventure, history, and immense landscapes.
The journey begins with pickup at your hotel in Mendoza City (or nearby) at 08:00, starting the route along National Route 7. Our first stage takes us toward the foothills Precordillera, passing through the picturesque town of Cacheuta until we reach the Potrerillos Dam viewpoint, where we make the first photo stop to admire the imposing reservoir.
We continue the route toward the Uspallata Valley, where we will make a brief technical stop for breakfast or coffee (not included). From there, we head into the high mountain region, passing through the villages of Punta de Vaca, Los Penitentes, and Puquios, breathing the pure air of the Andes with every step.
The culmination of the ascent is the arrival at the Aconcagua Viewpoint and the Las Cuevas area. You will have time to enjoy the unparalleled views of the highest peak in the Americas (6,962 meters above sea level)
We will begin the descent by visiting Puente del Inca and then returning to Uspallata for lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, we will start the journey back to Mendoza City via Route 7. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled between 17:00 h and 18:00 h, concluding this Andean adventure.
